The 2-car ex class 150 DMU 950001 passed through Dawlish this morning en route from Derby to Plymouth Laira depot. It is programmed to check the track down in Cornwall overnight tonight before stabling on Tuesday at Penzance. It returns to Exeter early on Wednesday morning due to be passing through Dawlish at 7.21am.

Seen here through the drizzly rain as it passes through Dawlish station on a very disappointing day weatherwise.  The vinyl overlays are depicting a piece of track being inspected through a magnifying glass and the wording up towards the front “Digital Railway” to convince us the railways are bang up to date?
