This year’s Great Britain Tour is now upon us with LMS Royal Scot Class7P 4-6-0 no 46100 Royal Scot
BR(S) Rebuilt Light Pacific 4-6-2 and no 34046 Braunton double heading the tour past our cameras. The details and timings for Dawlish are as follows :

Saturday 6th May

1Z46 Bristol Temple Meads to Plymouth passing Dawlish around 11.40 am. The train will swap steam for Diesel power at Plymouth with the locos then running to Penzance later in the day. For those in Plymouth this will give some extra viewing time.

Sunday 7th May

1Z46 Penzance to Exeter St Davids passing Dawlish around 1317. The train will stop at Plymouth for water for around an hour, Newton Abbot for 12 minutes and Exeter St Davids for over 2 hours before heading towards London.

Hopefully this will give those local an opportunity to see these locomotives up close. For those viewing via Dawlish Beach our coverage will be as follows:

For our Platinum Subscribers we are planning to live broadcast the Great Britain in Exeter from 11:05am on Saturday 6th May 2017 on our Roaming Cam and from Saltash at 10:40 and Exeter from 13:30 on Sunday 7th May. If we can’t view in Exeter we will endeavour to catch it in Taunton from 16:20.
