Yesterday DRS 68025 “Superb” came down light engine from Crewe to Laira to collect five  Mk3 coaches for refurbishment to be used by TransPennine Express. This morning it headed north back to Crewe and is seen above approaching Langstone Rock on the Dawlish Sea wall. Heading the other way from Bristol to Laira was the National Rail DMU test train 950001

Getting dirtier by the day are DB Cargo 66074 & 66027 on the Rail Head Treatment train which has been busy cleaning the rails between Penzance and Salisbury via Westbury for the past 3 weeks or so.
